Book Promo! The Gentleman Mentor by Kendall Ryan

He calls himself the Gentleman Mentor.

Just reading his ad makes me feel more alive than I have in years.

He promises to teach me the art of seduction … and show me the most sinfully erotic pleasures. He’s going to help me become the kind of confident, sexy woman men can’t ignore.

Six lessons … with the most gorgeous man … who happens to be a Dom.

The only problem … now that I’ve experienced his brand of delectable domination will anyone else ever compare?

She’s a client. That’s all.

Or it should be.

But with every lesson, she’s becoming more.

The secrets I’m hiding behind the image of the Gentleman Mentor make telling her the truth—and having anything real—impossible.

I’m training her for another man, and that fact guts me every time I think of it.

I know she’s not mine … but part of me won’t accept that.

Am I willing to risk it all to keep her?

THE GENTLEMAN MENTOR is a full-length standalone novel.

I take a minute to survey her. She’s petite, just like I imagined her. Brunette. Big blue eyes whose gaze drifts between mine and the floor as if she doesn’t know where to look. There must be some goddamn mistake, because there’s no way she’d need any help attracting a man. But if it’s my help she wants, I won’t refuse her.

“May I?” I ask, pulling out the seat next to her and moving toward it. She’s timid, and I need to remember my manners.

“Please,” she says. “I’m Brielle.”

“No names.”

“Everyone calls me Brie, though.” She twists her hands in her lap.

“Sweetheart?” I say, and her gaze darts up to mine. “I said no names.”

“Oh. I’m sorry.” She swallows down her nerves. “But what should I call you?”

“You may call me Dom.”

Our gazes connect, and a flash of desire pools low in my spine. Fucking hell. This should be interesting.

Diana's Reviews! Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

Anna is looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a great job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. Which is why she is less than thrilled about being shipped off to boarding school in Paris--until she meets Étienne St. Clair. Smart, charming, beautiful, Étienne has it all...including a serious girlfriend.

But in the City of Light, wishes have a way of coming true. Will a year of romantic near-misses end with their long-awaited French kiss?

You know that kind of books that you can’t wait to read because the description sounds so good?

Those reviews you read before the book where everyone says they loved it? And you finally put your hands on it and begin to read and the story isn’t what you hoped it might be?

Well, that was for me, Anna and the French Kiss.

I was so excited to see what all the fuss was about, because some of my friends recommended it. And don’t get me wrong, because I wasn’t disappointed. I just wasn’t able to connect with the characters.

In the beginning, we meet Anna, a teenage girl who’s looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta. She’s the typical student: good grades, she has good friends, and her biggest passion is watching movies - which she loves to write about.

Things changes when she has to go to a boarding school in Paris. She’s less thrilled about the concept of leaving her entire life behind, and the fact that she doesn’t even know to speak French in order to survive her last year of high school. There, she meets Étienne St. Clair. He’s charming, intelligent, attentive, kind and beautiful and about to complicate Anna’s life.

It was very interesting to see how she is accommodating with her surroundings and makes new friends.

I found the other characters interesting and I think they had an important role in the development of the story. I’m actually excited to read more about them.

I liked the author’s style, even though, there were moments where I thought everything was just dragging and other times when Anna got on my nerves for being very irresponsible.

There were a lot of funny scenes, making up for the story moving at a slow pace and saving it from being boring. I think Stephanie Perkins did a great job at pointing out the fact that it’s a great thing when you fall in love with the right person and I’m looking forward to reading her other books.

Book Promo: Excerpt & Giveaway! Two of Hearts by Christina Lee

A gripping standalone adult contemporary romance about finding yourself while taking a second chance at your first love...

Dakota Nakos was always the resilient, strong-willed achiever. But when her father dies and she's entrusted with the family's casino, she feels vulnerable, scared, and more than a little emotional --not exactly the best time to see an old lover she's never really gotten over.

Dakota once meant the world to Shane Garrity. Then suddenly he left town to train as a U.S. Marshal, and their love for each other crashed into a memory. Now he's come home for her father's funeral, and one look at the girl he left behind stirs up both memories and regrets, and reignites a fire he feared he'd lost forever.

Dakota may be the same driven girl she always was, but she's also changed in ways neither could have anticipated. She's not just a young woman searching for own identity in the Native American community in which she was raised, but one questioning her new life outside her father's shadow. Above all she wonders if Shane can push past her weakened defenses to rekindle what they once had, or whether the intense blaze between them will ultimately reduce her heart to ashes.

She closed her eyes on a sharp breath, looking soft and vulnerable.

Because I couldn’t help myself, my fingers left her chair and glided up her arms to her neck. Her breaths released from her lips in short pants and I considered touching my mouth to hers.

Would she let me? Would she want me to?

“Yes,” she whispered, the heat of her breaths warming the tiny sliver of air still lingering between us. “But that’s in the past. We had our chance and I . . . I got over you. So let’s leave it there.”

My stomach completely flipped over. “You got over me?”

I studied her lips edge to edge, and they trembled in response. She was so not over me.

I didn’t know what the hell was driving me. I just knew I didn’t like hearing those words. Not one damn bit.

“You got over me?” I growled as my fingers gripped the nape of her neck.

My lips brushed the line of her jaw and she shivered.

“Shane, don’t. Please,” she mumbled, her hands at my chest. “You’ll just leave again and I can’t . . . I can’t . . .”

She sounded so helpless and sad. For the first time she was allowing me to see exactly what she might have been feeling, might’ve gone through five years ago. She sounded wrecked—as wrecked as I had been.

My lips trailed to her ear. “Angel.”

Mother, wife, reader, dreamer. Christina lives in the Midwest with her husband and son--her two favorite guys.

Completed Hired Gun Serial.

He tossed the whiskey back, savoring the smoky taste. The beautiful redheaded vamp flashed her teeth and moved in closer.

Been there, done that. He had the teeth marks to prove it. Ginger was always his go-to girl if he was in the need of a little kink. “Benny around?”

“Haven’t seen him. But I’m free, if you’d like to play.” She ran one of her razor sharp nails down his chest. The chick was a freaking nymphomaniac. If he asked her to drop to her knees right there, she would do it without blinking an eye. No shame in her game.

“Now, now, Ginger, it’s not even dark out yet and it’s what, barely a crescent moon? I’m not sure you could handle me right now.” The old myth that vampires couldn’t go out in the sun was not exactly true. When the sun was out, their powers were severely limited. They gained their power by the moonlight. The smart ones stayed in during a new moon; it was the time when their powers were so low, they were easy to kill. Even a car crash could do them in.

Thorne turned into Ginger and ran his fingers up her cool, bare thigh. The minuscule skirt she wore gave him complete access—if he wanted it. He wasn’t surprised to find she wasn’t wearing anything underneath. Slowly, he parted her plump lips before driving two of his fingers into her hot, wet slit. And they said vampires were cold blooded …

She grabbed his shirt and pulled him closer. “Like that’s stopped us before.”

Losing interest, he pulled back his hand and licked his fingers as his eyes traveled around the bar. “Sorry, sweets. I got a gig tonight. Maybe next time.”

She attempted to push him back, but she might as well have been trying to push a two ton boulder.

“You’ll have to pay for that next time you’re mine.”
