~ Review, Excerpt & Giveaway: Full Domain, Nice Guys #3 by Kindle Alexander ~

Honor, integrity, and loyalty are how Deputy US Marshal Kreed Sinacola lives his life. A former SEAL now employed by the Special Operations Group of the US Marshal Service, Kreed spent most of his life working covert operations and avoiding relationships. Never one to mix business with pleasure, his boundaries blur and his convictions are put to the test when he finally comes face-to-face with the hot computer geek he’s been partnered with. Hell-bent on closing the ongoing case for his longtime friend, he pushes past his own limits and uncovers more than he expects.

Aaron Stuart strives for one thing: justice. Young and full of idealism, his highly sought after computer skills land him a position with the National Security Agency. Aaron’s biggest hazard at his job is cramped fingers, but all that changes when he is drawn into the middle of a dangerous federal investigation. Aaron gets more than he bargained for when the FBI partners him with a handsome and tempting deputy US marshal. His attraction to the inked up, dark-haired man provides another kind of threat altogether. Aaron tries desperately to place a firewall around his heart and fight his developing feelings, knowing one misstep on his part could ultimately destroy him.

The solution isn’t as easy as solving the case, which is treacherous enough as it is. But the growing sexual attraction between them threatens to derail more than just Kreed’s personal convictions as he quickly learns temptation and matters of the heart rarely fit easily into the rules he’s lived by. Will Kreed be able to convince Aaron to open his heart and face the fact that sometimes the answers aren’t always hidden in code?

Two years ago, I fell in love irrevocably with Kindle Alexander’s books after reading The Current Between Us and it has been an ongoing affair ever since.

Each and every one of her books is so intense, full of passion, romance, suspense and as much eye candy as you desire, obviously.

Full Domain is the third and last installment in the Nice Guys series (sad news, I know) and we’re finally getting to know the elusive Aaron and Mitch’s best friend and partner, Kreed.

At a first glance, the two couldn’t be more different; Aaron is a computer whiz who spends the majority of his time behind a screen while Kreed is ex-military working for the US Marshals.

Like oil and water, Aaron stays away from violence while Kreed chases dangerous guys for a living.

What brings them together is a strong sense of justice and the desire to bring down the organization that has done so much harm to so many and that has tried to kill their best friends in the past.

The closer they get to their objective, the harder it is to ignore the fierce attraction between them. Giving in would be so simple but the stakes are too high, and even the smallest mistake could result in the death of those who are counting on them for protection.

I’d say this has been the perfect ending to a great series even if I am kind of sad that it’s over.

The writing, as usual, has been great- fast paced and intense, making this a breathtaking story I couldn’t put down.

Following the Kindle Alexander duo over the time has been an interesting journey. With every book, their progress is more and more obvious. They keep evolving and each story it truly is better than the last.

Waiting for their next book is going to be a sweet torture. Meanwhile, I’ll still have Gage, Trent, Avery, Kane, Mitch, Cody, Colt, Jace and all the others to keep me entertained.

I don’t know what else I can say except, great job, ladies!

For those who haven’t read the series yet – seriously, what are you waiting for? You don’t know what you’re missing.

Happy Reading!!

“You’re so fucking sexy with those fuck-me-I’m-so-smart glasses on and that intense look on your face.” Aaron glanced up and narrowed his eyes as he shoved the glasses off to the top of his head and stretched out his back. There was just something about the big, gorgeous deputy marshal growling those words at him that made his dick want to come out and play. A tired yawn from hours of sitting behind his laptop slipped free as he rubbed his eyes. “And those noises you make are a complete turn-on.” “I have a feeling it doesn’t take much to turn you on. A slight gust of wind would probably have you at full mast,” Aaron teased, lowering the lid to his laptop.

Best Selling Author Kindle Alexander is an innovative writer, and a genre-crosser who writes classic fantasy, romance, suspense, and erotica in both the male/male and male/female genres. It's always a surprise to see what's coming next!
I live in the suburbs of Dallas where it's true, the only thing bigger than an over active imagination, may be women's hair!
Usually, I try for funny. Humor is a major part of my life - I love to laugh, and it seems to be the thing I do in most situations - regardless of the situation, but jokes are a tricky deal... I don't want to offend anyone and jokes tend to offend. So instead I'm going to tell you about Kindle.
I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I'll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died - weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn't have to be alone.
That time in my life was terrible. It's everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.
Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness - it was her name and she died a few weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindle ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it.. It never happened.
Through the course of that crippling event I was lucky enough to begin to write with a dear friend in the fan fiction world of Facebook. She got me through those dark days with her unwavering support and friendship. There wasn't a time she wasn't there for me. Sometimes together and sometimes by myself, we built a world where Kindle lives and stands for peace, love and harmony. It's its own kind of support group. I know without question I wouldn't be here today without her.

Excerpt & Review! Don't Judge, Nothing Special #4 by A.E. Via

Cover by Jay Aheer

Detective Austin Michaels didn’t think life could get any better after he was accepted into the most notorious narcotics task force on the East Coast, headed up by two of the baddest’ Lieutenants with the Atlanta Police Department - Cashel Godfrey and Leonidis Day.

Michaels knew he would fit right in as the team’s sniper, having received his fair share of commendations for marksmanship. He was just as badass as the rest of the twenty brothers that made up their team. But when Michaels lets their prime suspect get away from a huge bust with over a quarter of a million dollars in drugs, he’s willing to do whatever it takes to make it right.

Left with no other options, God chooses to bring in outside help, calling on his long-time friend and bounty hunter, Judge Josephson.

Judge was considered one of the best trackers during his enlistment in the United States Marine Corps. After retiring, he used those skills to become one of the most sought out fugitive trackers in the country. When Judge gets a call from his old friend needing his help, he quickly tells God, yes.

Still embarrassed, and intent to prove himself, Michaels immediately volunteers to partner up with Judge to get their suspect back quickly and quietly. Neither man wanted or needed a partner. But, after Judge and Michaels get on the road, the hate/lust relationship they quickly develop between them will either make them heroes… Or get them killed.

Judge carefully scanned each document that was relevant to tracking someone. He could care less about what laws the man had broken, it wasn’t his job to determine if he needed arresting or if he as guilty. His job was to bring him in. “I take it you want this guy alive.” That comment got him a lot of stares.

“If you don’t mind.” Day said between clinched teeth.

Judge looked around. “You do understand this guy is a murderer. You think he’s gonna roll out a welcome mat for me.”

He watched God rear back in his seat and run his hands through his long hair. “I know that, Judge. Just try. I’m not telling you to get yourself killed. But if you don’t have to take a kill shot, I’d appreciate it.”

“I make no promises.”

“Of course not.” Day said drily. “you just make sure to bring my sniper back alive and you won’t have any beef out of me.”

Judge snapped back up, pulling his cane out of his mouth. “Excuse me.”

God grimaced and glared at Day. “I hadn’t exactly told him yet.” He whispered but Judge heard him loud and clear.

“Told me what, God?” Judge stood. “And it better not be what I think it is.”

“Judge. I need this guy in custody and I need it done quietly. So I want one of my guys to go with -”

“Hell no.” Judge backed up. “I don’t need any help you know that.”

“He’s not gonna be there to help you, he’s there to keep things quiet.”

“You think I need a goddamn do-gooder-baby-sitter, telling me how to do my fuckin’ job?”

“You know damn well I’m not saying that. I need assurance that this will keep kept quiet and I also know you wouldn’t be bothered with giving me updates.

Judge scoffed. “Quiet. You think I haven’t heard of these two.” He pointed to the two men that were introduced as Ruxs and Green. Now that he had a face to go with the names he knew who to point to. “These guys are the epitome of loud noise and ruckus.”

“Because that’s their job.”

“Fuck no.” Judge growled.

“You owe me, goddamnit!” God stood and came around the table to square off with him. Bookem stood and growled but didn’t attack. He’d never do that without command. God ignored the warning and stood directly in front of him. “Now, I’m asking for my favor. Are you going to refuse me, Judge?”

Son of a -. Judge gritted his teeth. God knew he’d never go back on his word. God gave him a few minutes to stew in his anger. All eyes were on him, waiting. Reluctantly he asked, “Who is he?”

“Detective Austin Michaels.” God replied. His voice and demeanor looked as if he was proud to present this guy.

Judge rolled his eyes when he saw Detective Michaels stand up. Of course it had to be him. The sexiest one of them all. Shit. When the man came over to glare at him, Judge had to be sure not to show his surprise or amusement. The little fucker. Actually he wasn’t so little. He was tall and built. Compact muscles over smooth ivory skin. No doubt he was as macho and straight as an arrow, those kinds usually were. Judge was eager to see how the man handled himself.

Well, damn! Who would’ve thought that Michaels would turn out to be such a hottie?

Seriously now, he was kind of annoying in Here Comes Trouble.

Austin has been working with God and Day for a few years now and he’s changed a lot. He’s trusted and respected by everyone and has become an important part of the team but, something is still missing in his life.

A botched intervention brings him on the path of Judge, one of the best bounty hunters and God’s friend.

At a first glance, they seem to have nothing in common but, time and them hunting for their suspect together, will give them time to think and see everything from a new perspective.

Just like every other book in this series, I loved it. Adrienne sure knows how to write and I always read with pleasure her stories.

It was a little bit difficult to connect with Austin and Judge but I’m not blaming that on the writing or the story itself. I think the reason was them being completely new characters.

Like I said before, I thought about Austin as being a little bit annoying in the previous installment so, the complete change he went through, was a little bit overwhelming. Not in a bad way. I would have liked to know more about him, though. There wasn’t much there about his past, his life before joining God and Day.

It doesn’t take anything from the story but, him being a new character and all that, I think a little bit more info would have been welcome.

As always, there were some really, REALLY hot scenes. Phew! *fans self* A lot of action, humor (because Day, duh) and I even shed a few tears at one point (again, damn you, Day) and, guys, you’re in for a BIG surprise. *GRINS*

Totally worth it, I promise! Now, I really hope Adrienne will write Curtis and Gen’s story at some point. Don’t you agree? I NEED to know what are they up to and how has their relationship evolved.

And, yes, see Green and Ruxs deal with the fact that their son is having a significant other in his life. That should be interesting.

All in all, it was a great book and I highly recommend it. Just keep in mind that this is a series and you should start from the beginning.
