Cover Reveal! Betrayal, Obsession #2 by S.M. Phillips

"I gave you one chance, Anna. A chance to run and never look back. That's all you had to do. Run and keep your goddamn head down, yet here we are and it's not just you in the firing line anymore. You better pray that nothing bad happens to my brother, because this time I'll be taking you down with me." Running was the only option that Anna Jameson was given. To up and leave everything that she had ever known and put it all behind her. That was the toughest decision that she'd ever made, and she made it... But was it all worth it? As soon as her anxiety and fear began to slowly ebb away, she could see a faint light at the end of the dark and horrific tunnel that she had found herself in... That light was the dark, sexy and demanding Jensen Blake. A man who played on her every emotion and a man who she swore she would avoid at all costs. Nobody can run forever and the past is about to catch up with her. With nowhere to run and nowhere to hide, how many more people will suffer at the hand of Anna's hidden past? Danger, fear and betrayal decide to make an unwelcome appearance and it looks like they're about to become her new best friends.

Book Promo: Excerpt & Giveaway! Snapped - The Complete Series by Ketley Allison

5 friends. A killer within. WHO WILL SNAP?

In nine weeks Charlie Miller's life goes from absolute perfection to gruesome tragedy. All it takes is one night, one blade, and her boyfriend, best friend and new friends all either end up as suspects or dead.

But Charlie's world of pro football golden boys, law school domination and New York City nightlife crumbles long before sudden death. Nate Westcott, a pierced, tattooed, charismatic lawyer, is a man she can’t have—but a seductive danger she can’t ignore. He’s cocky, infuriating, brilliant and wrong, making her question whether she really is the good girl she wants to be or more like the selfish killer everyone thinks she is.

And her body wants him in ways she’s not supposed to crave.

Despite her desire for it to be how it was during college, Charlie's changing, and so are the friends she thought she knew. Everyone she cares about is at risk because one of them has darkness lurking beneath, and if Charlie wants to survive, she must find that single, poisonous soul.

Because they want Charlie out of the way. And to succeed, they'll kill.

Start at the beginning. Question them all.

I wrapped my hands around the railings, iron framing my view as I watched them. I rested my forehead between the cold columns, feeling like an inmate forced to see the world from the inside.

Neither Lara nor Slade said anything. Nor did they pause for a picture or even acknowledge the requests.

But, I thought, neither bothered to correct them.

They believed Lara was me, that Slade was bringing his girlfriend with him even though players weren’t supposed to consort with their companions prior to a game.

But I shouldn’t rush to stupid thoughts—he probably offered her a ride, asked to drop her off somewhere rather than wasting money on a cab.

Yet the tug on my insides wasn’t regret or logic. It was, ever so slightly, jealousy. She was beautiful. She was with him. I was up here, curled up on the balcony and sporting terrycloth and stress pimples in the background.

He opened the door for her, and she swooped in with him following behind. The door slammed shut, and the car vroomed away from the curb, leaving the flashes, clicks and shouts behind.

I sagged against the bars, blowing out an annoyed, desolate sigh.

“Charlotte!”

I stiffened.

“I see you, girl! Down here!”

Shit. Shit, shit, shit.

I flipped to all fours, squeezing my eyes shut as though I could scrunch out what was happening, and crawled to the balcony door.

Please don’t have zoom capabilities.

“Charlotte! Why aren’t you with your boyfriend! Who’s the lady with him?”

Door. Get to the damn door.

“Charlotte! Charlotte! Char—”

Slam.

I shut the French doors, transforming the sounds from below into muffled murmurs, almost nonexistent.

And if I were to be honest with myself, I felt pretty nonexistent right now, too.

Ketley Allison is a twenty-something (maybe almost thirty-something) author who believes that supernatural love shouldn’t stop at eighteen. She began her career by writing books as birthday presents for her friends (with her friend as the main character and opposite a super sexy lead, of course) before ending it in order to walk down a path she thought she was supposed to follow.
The writing bug never left her—and, in fact, would often bleed into the official papers she was supposed to write—so now Ketley’s putting down her suit and finally following her dream. While her friends are no longer the stars of her books, she still throws in bits and pieces of them into each and every one of her characters.
As a result, her books tend to focus a lot on friendships as well as love, because let’s be honest, friends are what really get you through—especially when your epic love turns into epic heartbreak.

Book Promo: Excerpt & Giveaway! Archangel Zach, The Seven #3 by Lisa Hughey

For three hundred years, Zach has suffered under the crushing guilt over his part in the death of his one true love. Since then he’s hidden himself away, dispensing his forgiveness far from the human realm and the threat of more heartbreak...until the day that he is conscripted into war against the angels’ most dangerous enemy…the Grigori.

Every night, Shasa Jefferson dreams the same scene—a far off island, a gorgeous, magical man, and sizzling passion that curls her toes. But getting lost in dreams is no way to live a life…until the day Shasa’s mystery man appears on her doorstep spouting terms she doesn’t understand and forcing her to confront her deepest fears.

Zach is amazed to find the soul of his true love in Shasa, but how long can their rekindled passion survive with the shadow of the Grigori and Zach’s own past transgressions threatening to tear them apart?

Archangel Zach is the third installment in The Seven series, featuring hot Archangels and their human loves. The SevenArchangels, Guardians to Earth, have lost touch with the human realm, dwelling in the Third Sphere and watching over the earth from afar...until their mortal enemies escape from banishment determined to wreak destruction on Earth and the Angelic Realm. Suddenly, the Archangels must team up with the humans and all hell breaks loose.

Zach wanted to translocate out of this house, but something about the husky voice of Anna’s daughter held him rooted to the floor.

“What’s that?” The daughter rushed into the dark, wood-paneled living room and stopped cold, staring at Zach as if she’d seen a ghost.

She was in her late twenties. Caramel skin, wide-set violet eyes tilted coquettishly, and high elegant cheekbones accented her stunning face. A cap of tight dark brown curls hugged her skull.

His heart thundered in his chest. His vision grew dim and he couldn’t breathe. As soon as he’d seen her, more than her voice held him rooted to the floor. Shock froze him into place. She wasn’t just a phantom. She was his biggest mistake and his deepest regret in one thousand years of living. She looked nothing like the woman from centuries ago, but he’d recognize her soul even if he’d gone deaf, dumb, and blind.

Shasa.

Zach hadn’t thought he’d see her ever again. The love of his life. The woman he’d killed.

USA Today Bestselling Author Lisa Hughey has been writing romance since the fourth grade, which was also about the time she began her love affair with spies. Harriet and Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys later gave way to James Bond and Lara Croft and Jason Bourne. Exploring the complex nature of a profession that requires subterfuge and lies fascinates her. She loves combining her two passions into fiction. As evidenced by her Black Cipher Files series.
Recently she's been immersed in the Stone Family novellas, stories about a blended family of brothers and a sister who have a lot more in common than they realize. But of course she couldn't just write about family and romance. There are complex plots, bad guys, and suspense too.
Taking a break from romantic suspense, Lisa entered the paranormal world of the Angelic Realm. The Seven deals with forbidden relationships between humans and Archangels. At its heart, Rafe is a novel about the dynamic of family relationships. As this series evolves, the core story continues to be about love triumphing in the face of opposition and heartache. (The really hot Archangels don't hurt.)

Book Promo: Excerpt & Giveaway! Surviving Brooklyn, Brooklyn #1 by Elizabeth York

Brooklyn Montgomery, daughter of a well-known criminal, just moved into a new apartment. She needed to be closer to downtown because she landed her dream job of becoming an assistant District attorney. Little does she know that the reason for her new job is because a killer is raining down on New York City. The killer is taking out anyone who looks like her, including the last A.D.A., and covering their bodies with thousands of forget-me-nots. Is this a clue to catching the killer or does the killer want to lead Brooklyn to her demise?

Mark Stone, Brooklyn’s childhood friend, is the lead detective in the city. He has been handed the case, but has a limited window until the FBI takes over. While he hunts to find the killer he guards Brooklyn with his life. He knows she has feelings for him, but can the past be overlooked so they can be together after they catch the killer? What happens if they can’t stop the killer in time? Will he catch the killer and capture her heart, or will the final victim be the one he wanted all along, Brooklyn?

I opened to him, and he pressed his body against mine, inhaling the moan that left my lips. All five of my senses were being overloaded by him. I could no longer hear anything but the rapid beating of my heart. I tasted coffee and whipped cream on his tongue as I inhaled his manly sandalwood scent. I looked into his eyes when he pulled away. My body burned with the need to touch him everywhere.

“Tell me no,” Mark whispered as he dropped to his knees. I watched in fascination while he untied the bow on my drawstring shorts. I shivered as I watched him pull down my shorts, exposing a pair of black lace underwear.

Book Promo: Excerpt & Giveaway! Damnation, Dyphillum #2 by Elizabeth Montgomery

Cecily, Isaac, and Julian have worked together to defeat one evil. Can they survive another?

In order to save herself from the twisted fate Sadina, the creator of the Dyphillum, has in store for her, Cecily will be forced to find the most powerful magic she possesses – or become nothing more than the mother of an army of immortal bent to take over the world.

Sadina has to die, but would that erase all of the spells she has cast? Would history be rewritten without the Dyphillum race?

With help from an unlikely ally and opposition from the elders, the trio is forced to reach deeper than ever before to defeat this great evil.

Isaac's POV

“Who is Sadina?” Cecily asked again.

“She is no one we need to be messin’ with,” Ezrah said as he gathered the dried bullets putting them into a clip belonging to his .40 cal.

“Sadina is a witch, one of the strongest alive as a matter of fact,” Julian said walking around the side of the house, “She put a curse on a pack of shifters all because her wee lil heart was broken, Lucas said she may have something to do with all of this. Little tidbit of info, she is also the creator of the Dyphillum clan, which kind of makes her untouchable.”

“Why would she be untouchable?” Cecily asked as she sat down next to Ezrah.

“All the power that we have from our witch side was given to us by Sadina, it was passed down by genetics and becomes stronger as more Dyphillum are born but will never be enough to take her on head to head,” I said as I walked over to the both of them. Julian hung back by the house, close enough to be part of the conversation but far enough to keep his eyes on the woods that surrounded us.

“So she is kind of like the mother of the clan?” Cecily cocked her head to the side looking confused.

“Your parents never told you about her?” Julian asked with one eyebrow raised in surprise.

“No, haven’t heard of her till today, what does she have to do with the possession of the elders?” She was looking at the ground, I could feel she was embarrassed that she didn’t know any of this.

“She is someone you don’t want to piss off and somehow the Dyphillum have done just that, this is what we need to figure out, Jules, does Lucas have more answers?” I asked taking Cecily’s hand and gently rubbing my thumb over her knuckles, just then I heard some branches crack and by the way everyone’s heads turned, so did they.

Author Elizabeth Montgomery was born in Williamsburg, Virginia and raised a hop, skip, and a jump away in Yorktown, Virginia. Paranormal inspiration was easily obtained during her childhood in these colorful towns. This helped to spur her love of Paranormal romance stories, but she also enjoys reading YA and NA.
She is currently raising four children and a husband while elbow-deep in the depths of the writing cave. You can often find her searching on Google for an appropriate, or sometimes inappropriate, photo to insert in any random conversation. If not on Google, or Facebook chat, she can be found drinking coffee (like any normal writer), eating Gummy Bears, baking fanciful cakes, reading (of course), or writing (duh).
“I always wondered what authors meant when they said that their characters tell them what to write – I get it now!”

Buy your copy HERE

Branson Farrell lost his parents when he was thirteen, and for the last ten years his brother, Mac, eight years his senior, has taken care of him. But Mac’s love came at a price. Both brothers were raised to believe being gay was completely unacceptable, and Branson has almost convinced himself he can be what Mac expects. When he looks at a man in a bar and Mac notices, Mac drags him off in horror.

Mac’s distress and disgust leads to a car accident that leaves Branson injured and Mac in a coma. Branson heals and stays at Mac’s bedside, but when Mac doesn’t recover, he is moved to a long-term care facility. There, Branson meets openly gay, confident, and attractive Liam Sullivan. Liam stirs feelings Branson thought he’d rid himself of, and to honor his brother, Branson fights tooth and nail against his attraction. When the cost of denying who he is becomes too high, Branson must battle a lifetime of hatred that’s been beaten into his body and mind to try for something of his own.

Today I’m very lucky to be interviewing Liam Sullivan from Brynn Stein’s new book For Mac
Hi Liam, thank you for agreeing to this interview. I know you have places to go, so let’s get right to it..

What do you find attractive in a man?
I love blond hair and blue eyes, but more important for me is that the man is kind and loving.

The first thing that went through your head when you saw Branson.
I was so sorry for him with what he was going through with his brother. I was attracted to him immediately. He’s gorgeous, who wouldn’t be. But I was getting ‘leave me alone vibes’ from him, so I had a hard time figuring him out.

Do you think you’ll insist the author visits you again?
I think we bugged poor Brynn until she wrote down our entire story, so I don’t think there’s anything else to tell right yet.

Before you met Branson, what was your ideal man?
The typical, I guess. Tall, ripped, strong. Porn star material.

You’re going out for dinner. What’s your favorite food?
Anything but tuna subs. I’ve had enough of those with Branson at the hospital to last a lifetime. <G>

I've always loved to write and wrote fan fiction before I even knew what it was called. When computers came along, with online communities and places to publish fan fiction, I wrote even more. Then a friend convinced me to try to have an altered version of an AU (alternate universe, meaning all but original) published. My manuscript was accepted and now I'm a 'published author'.
