She is quickly drawn into a world she has dreamed of since she was a little girl. Besides that, there’s a strong chemistry going on between her and the lead singer.
Jack lives the perfect life… or so he thinks. He’s surrounded by beautiful women willing to share his bed every night and his band is about to become famous now that they have included Leila and are starting their tour. He hasn’t been committed to a girl since high school and he isn’t planning on a relationship now, with all the important events that are going to make his dream come true.
Jack may appear carefree and hard-headed, but, in reality, he has a great capacity of loving someone and being loyal. Both him and Leila are determined to accomplish their goals in spite of their feelings. There’s always the chance that the passion they share will interfere with their work and neither is willing to take any chances.
One thing that I appreciated was that the secondary characters were equally involved and the author didn’t leave out any important details. Also, nothing seems too rushed or too slow and the relationship between the main characters develops as it should.
Back –Up is the best start for this series because romance and humor and an unexpected twist blend into an amazing story that will keep you glued to the pages of the book from beginning to end. I cannot wait to read the next volume!
